Raise the price of the mobile plan
Starting July 4, 2023, the price of your mobile plan will increase according to theConsumer Price Index (CPI).
We use the CPI rate published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) for the 12 months to the March quarter and round rolling price increases to the nearest dollar.
What is changing:
- Our basic mobile plan in advancewill increase by $4 per month. Data will increase by 10 GB per month.
- Our Essential Advance Mobile Planwill increase by $4 per month.
- Our Upfront Premium mobile planwill increase by $6 per month.
- Our mobile package planwill increase by $3 per month. Data will increase by 10 GB per month.
- We have also made some changes to our previous plans. If you are affected by those changes, we will contact you.
What remains the same:
- You will continue to receive unlimited SMS, MMS and calls in Australia to standard Australian mobile and landline numbers.
- You will still have a contract with no lock-in and no data overage charges.
- For these plans, all other features and special offers of our plans will remain the same.

- You will be able to continue sharing your data between 10 Upfront Mobile and Data plans on the same account.
- You will still have a contract with no lock-in and no data overage charges.
- For these plans, all other features and special offers of our plans will remain the same.

Changes in the price of the prepaid plan
Starting July 4, 2023, most of our prepaid plan prices will increase and some plan inclusions will change.
If you buy a SIM card today, you will continue to receive the current data and inclusions at the time of activation, even if you activate it after July 4, 2023. However, if you recharge after July 4, your recharge options will change.

Whats Next?
Data and price changes will take effect the first time you top up on or after July 4, 2023. You don't need to do anything.

Telstra's Foxtel raises price
Starting July 4, 2023, the price of some Foxtel packages from Telstra will increase.
What is changing:
- Telstra Foxtel Packagesare increasing by $3 per service, per month.
- Telstra Foxtel BYO Packagesare increasing by $2 per service, per month.
- Foxtel magazine priceis increasing by $2 per service.
If you're currently being charged a discounted price, that price will continue through the end of your offer period, so the new package price won't start until after your offer expires.
What remains the same:
- The price of the Foxtel Platinum package will remain unchanged.
- There are no changes to your Foxtel channels.
